Question

Endpoint Standard: Will guest VM's be protected by the hosts sensor if the guests do not have a sensor?

Answer

No, if the guest VM was not created with a sensor pre installed on a template it will need a sensor installed to have Endpoint Standard protection

Additional Notes

A sensor can be installed on a guest VM using the attended or unattended method once created
